Dear Paul,

How to get more done in less time?!

Welcome to our May newsletter where we supply you with useful information about your software and computer.

Jurgen Schmechel
This month topics:
1. The Value of Time in our so fast world
Each month we provide you with time-saving tips around your software. Actually this month we want to quote a great speaker - The Hospitality Doctor - Max Hitchins about the different perspectives to time.

To understand the value of a YearTalk to a student who has just failed the final exam
To understand the value of a Month

Talk to a mother of a premature baby
To understand the value of a WeekTalk to the editor of a weekly newspaper
To understand the value of a DayTalk to someone who’s been given only three days to live
To understand the value of a HourTalk to someone who’s waiting for a plane of their lover to arrive
To understand the value of a MinuteTalk to someone who’s just missed an aeroplane
To understand the value of a SecondTalk to someone who’s been involved in a car accident
To understand the value of a MillisecondTalk to an athlete who won a silver medal at the Olympics

How do you value your time?
What would you give to save 15 minutes each day just for you?
I think there is plenty of room for thoughts - let us know, what you are thinking.

2. Back-up your data Online - it simple, secure and clever
To be quiet dramatic about this: "It is not a question of if your hard drive will fail, but it's a question of when it will fail."

The good news is: You can prepare to be ready when it does fail - simply by having a copy of all of the data-files on your hard drive saved away from your computer.

It doesn't have to be a stolen or burnt computer, which is stopping you from working. It might be a virus that found on some mysterious ways his way into your system. And then starting your whole system from scratch in inevitable.

We wrote about 'Back-Up' in our previous newsletters still the reaction from our readers is shocking: "We are not securing our data on a regular basis".

Especially when you are looking at the feedback we are getting in regards to our Outlook® tips in our E-Book to Master Your Inbox.

There are few requirements when you want to do an effective back-up. It must be...
1. simple
2. affordable
3. fast
4. secure
5. away from your computer
... even better when it is actually stored away from your normal workplace.

The obvious solution is doing your back-up Online. Paul, now that broadband is available and affordable you too should use this fantastic way.

Click on the link ComputerMaster Backup My Business and check out the ComputerMaster way of saving your data.

Each evening before I turn off my computer I click on the Backup icon in my quick-start tool-bar. It only takes one or two minutes and it gives me such a great peace of mind.

And it's actually a good deal: 4GB (compressed) only costs you US$ 21.95 per month. Take on the 15-day obligation free trial.

Please find our special offer for you further down in this newsletter.

3. Shortcuts of the month
Do you want to learn more and increase your productivity by up to 30%?

This month it is actually not a keyboard short we are providing you with but a very useful trick.

Use a received email to add new contacts into your Microsoft® Outlook® system.

Drag an incoming email from a new correspondent to the symbol for contacts. It is very easy and powerful, if you want to build and maintain your database.

The moment you got an email from a new correspondent you simply click and drag this email into your contact folder. All you do is drag the email to the symbol for contacts in the bottom left corner of your Outlook program.

Up pops the screen for contacts - the name and email fields are already filled.
Simply delete the content in the "notes"-field and save. Done!

Please try these out – we know how powerful these simple tricks are, because they can save you valuable time – each day. Have fun with it – it’s easy!

You might as well print these shortcuts and keep them close to your keyboard to learn one shortcut at a time. It is worth the effort.

This simple tips was taken from our great e-book Master Your Inbox
Buy your copy now, because it will be going up in price very soon.

What our clients say about us…
“Jurgen, Thank you for writing such a fantastic ebook!
I have just used tips No 2 and 13 which will save me hours every month. Also I agree with you in tip 35, I learned that lesson the hard way and lost a big client because I didn’t understand that rule! Not knowing that tip cost me $ thousands.
I love the way you’ve used pictures in the book it makes life very easy for non-techy people like me. It also means I can delegate much of this to my PA.
Great work Jurgen.”

Howard Tinker - Lifetools.com.au

“Jurgen, the Master Your Inbox course is brilliant! Tip 4 alone has justified the cost of the course…and Tip 53 has resolved a long term, time consuming problem. Everyone should use this stuff!” Glen Rothquel - Capital 4 Business

“Just want to let you know Tip 4 has revolutionised my inbox!
Thanks Jurgen”

Paul Jones – Magneto P/L

“Jurgen, where were you 10 years ago?
Thanks for the Microsoft® Office® tip today. I could have literally saved hundreds of hours of time in the last 10 years while creating proposals. I can't get that wasted time back but at least I now have a true time saver.“
Damian Noonan - Vitecomm P/L

“I attended Jurgen’s workshop on how to save time using your computers including learning a better way to handle your emails.
As a Small Business Owner, time is money, and the more time spent working on the business rather than fiddling around with spread-sheets, computers and emails the better.”
Michelle Hudson - The Loan Lady
